Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a dependable merchandiser to manage stocking, merchandising, rotation, and inventory counts. You will assist with permanent POS materials and coordinate with the Merchandiser Trainer for daily assignments.

Daily tasks include visiting stores to breakdown trucks, back stock organization, rotating stock, ensuring POS visibility, and assisting with cooler resets as directed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• An understanding of alcoholic beverage industry.
• Ability to work with computer programs associated with the performance of the position.
• Must be a results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills; uses diplomacy and discretion
• Ability to work well with all levels of the organization, to organize, prioritize, negotiate, manage, motivate others and solve problems
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Highly professional, with ability to interface well with internal and external contacts
• Have strong customer service and interpersonal expertise

Responsibilities

• Reports to Merchandiser Trainer each morning for assignments.
• Inspect vehicle condition prior to leaving daily; note issues to supervisor.
• Visit assigned stores daily to breakdown truck and stock displays, shelves, coolers and bunkers.
• Rotate stock per procedures on expiration dating and notify if soon expired stock is found.
• Build displays and distribute promotional materials where required.
• Assist with cooler resets as directed by Sales Manager.
• Complete stocking sheets daily with store manager initials and quantities.
• Ensure POS is visible and products are rotated in coolers, displays and backrooms.
• Safely handle pallets and unsold product to prevent damage.
• Report complaints, problems, out of stocks, low/high stocks.
• After last stop, contact Merchandiser Trainer for release or reassignment.
• Report competitors’ activities that affect distributorship on product sales.
• Breakdown orders in a timely fashion and organize back stock and trash.
