Job summary

Pine State Beverage seeks a Part-Time Merchandiser to support our Sales Division by improving POS displays and shelf presentation across a Maine route. The role emphasizes independence, reliability, and a passion for beverages.

You will service accounts in Topsham, Boothbay, Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Waldoboro, stock shelves, rotating products, and ensure on-brand merchandising with excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Maine driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and rotate product.
• Time-management skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends.

Job description

Pine State Beverage is currently looking for a Part-Time Merchandiser to assist our Sales Division Pine State Beverage's Merchandisers are responsible for enhancing the appearance of the Pine State Beverage portfolio through innovative POS on the sales floor while upholding customer service levels at accounts throughout their route. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, have a strong work ethic, and a passion and enthusiasm for the beverage industry as a whole.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate of $18.90
• Cell phone stipend
• 401k with employer match after 90 days of employment
• Sick Time Off

Territory:

covering accounts throughout the Topsham, Boothbay, Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Waldoboro area.

Qualifications:

• Valid Maine driver’s license and safe driving record along with reliable transportation.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and rotate product on a daily basis.
• Time-management skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work within safety and customer service guidelines established at each account. Professional appearance.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed, including weekends.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular and sustained periods of strenuous physical exertion requiring ability to lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 25 pounds using proper body mechanics.
• Continuous walking, standing, bending, and climbing within customer’s accounts. (i.e. Supermarkets, Convenience store, etc.)
• Push/pull U-boats of product from the back rooms of stores into aisles or coolers to stock shelves.
• Significant periods of time spent in a vehicle, traveling to accounts within assigned territory.
• Exposure to variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by driving conditions.
