Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Indianapolis is seeking a Laboratory Technician to test and monitor finished beverage products, ensuring results meet quality assurance specifications and regulatory requirements. The role includes calibrating lab instruments and entering data per LDMS records.

The position requires following SOPs, a basic understanding of laboratory practices, basic microbial knowledge, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

Ability to follow work instructions and adhere to SOPs.
Understanding of a laboratory environment and lab practices preferred.
Basic microbial knowledge and aseptic techniques.
Basic computer skills including Excel experience preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs tests to ensure product and package quality are within company specifications and regulatory requirements.
Maintains and calibrates lab equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
Maintains testing and calibration records and results in the Lab Data Management System (LDMS).
Performs water treatment quality tests following company specifications and regulatory requirements.
Creates quality holds on finished beverage products for containment and investigation when tests do not meet specs.
