Job summary

BERCO is hiring a Field Service Technician to service beverage and commercial food equipment in the Raleigh area. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, while managing parts, tools, and safety gear. On-call rotation and travel within local markets are expected.

Qualified candidates should have a valid driver’s license, basic repair knowledge, and the ability to document work via iPad or smartphone. BERCO offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

What We Need from You:

Qualifications:

• EPA Preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• General knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures.
• Coachable and eager to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for documentation via iPad/cell phone.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and frequently move heavy objects.
• Comfort working in extreme temperatures and tight spaces, including attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
• Strong balance and coordination for climbing ladders and working at heights of 45 feet or higher.
• Endurance to stand or kneel for extended periods.
• Dexterity for tasks such as connecting electrical components and making precise measurements.

BERCO determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20-22hourly. Pay is based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
