Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a District Manager to lead sales goals in Anchorage, AK. You will guide Sales Representatives and Associates, train staff, and collaborate with departments, suppliers and customers to grow core brand distribution.

Responsibilities include achieving distribution objectives, managing inventory, and developing retail promotions while expanding relationships with key accounts. Requires leadership and travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required -- Fleet Safety Policy applies.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years beverage industry sales experience.
• Minimum of three years sales management experience.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish sales and distribution goals by executing monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
• Manage inventory expenses in accordance with company policy.
• Educate and train employees to ensure execution of goals and priorities.
• Interact with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Develop knowledge of decision makers in each account.
• Prepare reports and numbers for sales team.
• Create retail promotions and opportunities in assigned accounts.
• Sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio.
• Travel to customer accounts as needed.
