Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Distribution Driver Class B to deliver beverages to clients statewide. You will inspect vehicles, load/unload, process payments, and maintain accurate paperwork per DOT requirements.

The role requires a Class B CDL, a high school diploma or equivalent, and being at least 21. You will operate safely, follow schedules, and contribute to a reliable distribution network with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
• Must be at least 21 years old

Responsibilities

• Deliver statewide products to bars, restaurants, hotels, or other customer locations
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
• Receive payment for goods delivered
• Sort merchandise by the invoice for delivery
• Adhere to the safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle at all times
• Check-in money and returned goods daily with Driver Check-in & Accounting Cashier
• Complete all required paperwork daily, including DOT logbook and DVIR
• Report to work in accordance with company uniform standards
• Adhere to all safety regulations, and perform all duties in a safe manner
• Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documents to transport goods
• Load and unload cargo and ensure safety equipment is used
• Ensure cargo is secured properly compliant with safety requirements
• Report any incidents to the dispatcher
• Follow traffic laws
• Maintain vehicle, product, & equipment tidy and in good working order
• Perform other related duties as assigned
