Job summary

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is seeking a Distribution Driver Class B to deliver products to client locations and maintain vehicle safety and readiness. The role requires inspecting vehicles, handling payments, and keeping accurate delivery records while ensuring compliance with DOT guidelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, unloading, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining high safety standards daily in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver statewide products to bars, restaurants, hotels, or other customer locations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
• Receive payment for goods delivered.
• Sort merchandise by the invoice for delivery.
• Adhere to the safe and courteous operation of the delivery vehicle at all times.
• Plan trip logistics and obtain necessary documents to transport goods.
• Load and unload cargo and ensure safety equipment is used.
