Job Summary

We seek a trend-savvy, data-oriented Beverage Director to collaborate with IMI’s account teams and clients. The role involves analyzing industry data, developing beverage programs, training staff, and managing beverage initiatives across the Caribbean and Latin America. The Beverage Director will oversee program implementation, maintain client relationships, ensure brand standards, and manage key vendor interactions, all while engaging with senior leadership and property managers.

Responsibilities
  • Lead R&D for branded cocktails, including seasonal updates and PR opportunities.
  • Support new property design, including bar layout, equipment, and beverage programming.
  • Create and manage OS&E lists and budgets.
  • Develop and lead beverage award strategies.
  • Compile and present beverage program data.
  • Update training materials and programming.
  • Drive revenue by leveraging industry trends and fads.
  • Oversee luxury and premium beverage deployment across the Caribbean, Central, and South America.
  • Conduct beverage training and events at client locations.
  • Support bar activation for openings and brand events.
  • Provide training and programs for underperforming properties.
  • Identify experiential beverage opportunities for lifestyle brands.
  • Lead beverage-related points of contact across all brand spaces.
Qualifications
  • Experience in developing and assessing national beverage programs.
  • Strong trend spotting and data analysis skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Expertise in cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Understanding of high-end, luxury bar environments.
  • Proven training and coaching skills, including remediation programs.
  • Ability to present to groups both in-person and virtually.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with promotions and activations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.
  • Flexible, proactive, and professional demeanor with a client-first attitude.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to travel 70%+ as needed.
