Responsibilities

The Bartender will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, maintain cleanliness, ensure a positive guest experience, and interact courteously with guests.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare drinks according to recipes.
  • Serve guests and staff following policies.
  • Handle cash and guest checks responsibly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Present a professional demeanor.
  • Follow Gaming Commission Regulations and tribal policies.
  • Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service, reporting concerns appropriately.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; Mixology certification preferred.
  • At least 2 years of high-volume bartending experience.
  • Certification in Sanitation is preferred.
  • Basic math skills required.

Work Environment

  • Exposure to casino-related factors such as smoke and noise.
  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities.
  • The environment is fast-paced and crowded.

Closing

The Tribal Council prioritizes employment for Native Americans, especially Seminole Tribe members, followed by other recognized tribes. Final candidates must pass a background check for gaming licensure before employment begins.
