Job summary

Salisbury Golf Partners Llc is seeking a courteous Food & Beverage Associate to serve meals and beverages to patrons in the clubhouse, function areas, or on the golf course, ensuring friendly service and adherence to state liquor laws with ID checks. You should have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and 1–3 months of related experience.

You must read and comprehend basic instructions, perform simple math, and follow written or verbal directions.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehending simple instructions, memos and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and handle monetary transactions.
• Capable of writing simple correspondence and following written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Observes all requirements and restrictions set forth by state and Pinnacle HR Group for alcoholic beverages.
• Knows and adheres to state and local liquor laws (Checks IDs and verifies age for alcoholic purchases).
• Reports to management any concerns regarding alcohol consumption by a customer.
• Presents menus, answer questions and makes suggestions regarding food selections.
• Travels through assigned areas of golf course to provide the sale of food and beverages to guests.
• Stocks and re-stocks cart.
• Provides friendly, knowledgeable information about facilities and the courses to guests.
• Returns unsold products and accounts for what was sold to include providing revenue and beginning balance to reflect sales.
• Collects litter on the ground and reports unusual and unsafe conditions.
• Assists indoor food and beverage operation (as needed).
• Maintains a working knowledge of menu items and key golf information.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Serves meals and beverages to patrons either in the clubhouse, function area or on the golf course in a courteous and friendly manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1. Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 2. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence as well.
• 3. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• 4. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1-3 months related experience and/or training or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
