Job summary

Sandpiper Productions LLC in Boston, MA seeks Brand Ambassadors for holiday season and spring-summer rush. You will host tastings and demos at liquor stores, bars, restaurants and taprooms across Boston and nearby towns.

This independent contractor role offers $30/hour and flexible scheduling, with opportunities to work with top beverage brands and deliver professional on-site experiences. Evenings and weekends are common; events last 2–3 hours.

Qualifications

• Punctual: arrive 15 minutes before scheduled start and stay until the end of shift.
• Communicative: notify us immediately about any obstacle or issue at an event.
• Prepared: know the brands you represent before you arrive as an independent contractor.
• Engaging: stay attentive, inviting and enthusiastic, and avoid phone use during events.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Current alcohol seller-server certification (TIPS or state-mandated) or willingness to obtain before first event.
• Reliable transportation to events within about 30 minutes of your residence.
• Smartphone and comfort using simple apps.
• Availability when events run in your area.

Responsibilities

• Host tastings and product demos for beer, wine and spirits brands at retail stores, bars and private events.
• Be the face of the brand: greet shoppers and guests, educate them on products, and convert them into customers.
• Represent premium brands at in-store tastings, nightlife activations and promotional events.
• Research the brands you promote before each event using training materials.
• Clock in and out of each event by geolocation in our app and report on-site developments.
