Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. in a related science/engineering field.
• Interest in beverage formulation and product development.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to work hands-on in lab and pilot plant environments.
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and experimental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist Beverage Applications scientists with a defined project from design to completion.
• Support evaluation of IFF beverage ingredients in systems.
• Prepare formulations and ingredients for lab and pilot plant trials.
• Operate lab and pilot plant equipment with training to produce prototypes.
• Collect and analyze data from experiments and trials.
• Organize data, observations and results for reporting.
• Participate in sensory and physical evaluation of prototypes.
• Collaborate with other technical functions, including Food Engineering and Analytical.
• Maintain accurate lab records and uphold safety standards.
• Present final internship findings and recommendations to the team.
