National Electrical Engineering Consultants LLC seeks a BESS Technician 1 to assist with assembly, wiring, and installation of energy storage equipment under supervision. You will follow procedures, maintain safety and quality, and support project delivery across diverse field sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in electrical construction or maintenance.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and work in outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Support system assembly, wiring, and equipment installation per plans and standards.
• Assist in testing procedures and data collection under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.

About the Role

The BESS Technician 1 assists in the assembly, wiring, and installation of energy storage equipment under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers. This role provides hands-on learning and exposure to field practices, focusing on safety, accuracy, and efficiency. The BESS Technician 1 supports project delivery by following technical procedures, maintaining a clean work environment, and ensuring compliance with NEEC’s safety and quality standards.
