Ampirical is seeking a Project Manager for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Covington, LA. You will lead multi-discipline engineering efforts, ensuring timely, on-budget completion while upholding QA/QC guidelines, and coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience managing BESS projects in the utility industry (or similar industry experience).
• Expertise in cost/schedule reporting.
• A strong leader with advanced organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects.
• A skilled communicator capable of leading cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full life cycle of BESS projects, including safety, scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Oversee BOM, equipment specs, and construction requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to hit milestones.
• Lead development of proposals, schedules, and material lists.
• Provide project performance updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables meet QA/QC guidelines.
• Travel to client sites and vendor facilities to align goals.
