Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the preparation of appetizers, sandwiches, calzones, pizza, grilled, and pasta dishes according to Bertucci's specifications.

Requirements:

  • Knowledgeable in all behind-the-line areas to ensure flexible scheduling.
  • Perform food rotation, set-up, break-down, stock wood, present products, and clean utensils and work area.
  • Prepare food accurately and timely.
  • Ensure proper temperatures of ovens, coolers, and freezers.
  • Inspect stock levels and review prep sheets with the manager to establish daily prep list.
  • Store, unpack, and retrieve food items properly.
  • Monitor and report equipment malfunctions.
  • Prepare food according to safety policies, demonstrating correct use of equipment and utensils.
  • Maintain a sanitary work area as per State Health Department standards.
