Job description

We're building our brand and are looking for employees to join the Bertucci's family! One of the things that make our company so distinctive is the brick oven at the center of each restaurant. The 936 bricks that make up each of our brick ovens are the cornerstone of our kitchen and the foundation of our authentic flavor. Together, they insulate the environment that serves as both the backbone of our culture as an organization and the authenticity of our promise to our guests. Primary Responsibilities:

1. Pours drinks only when slip printer produces an order, serves food at the bar, prepares condiments for drinks, changes beer and tonic kegs, and maintains general cleanliness of the work area.
2. Constantly keeps the area clean and neat - tables, floor, chairs, service station.
3. Assists other employees as needed.
4. Pre-busses tables.
5. Stocks liquor and bar items following delivery.
6. Prepares and equips the bar for daily activity by replenishing glassware overhead, cutting and slicing garnishes, and obtaining needed beverage supplies for anticipated business.
7. Maintains and balances cash drawer by ensuring all financial transactions are correct and maintained adequately.
8. Serves alcohol responsibly by observing customer's level of alcohol intake and terminating further alcohol consumption as designated in Alcohol Awareness Guide.
9. Rotates stock.
10. Prepares drinks, batch recipes, and mixes according to product specifications.

Position Requirements:

1. Must be at least 18 years old.
2. Some heavy lifting (25-30lbs).
3. Ability to work well under pressure.
4. Ability to remain standing and active for a 9-hour shift.
5. Ability to communicate (speak, read, and write English).
6. Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
