Berkshire Hathaway Direct Remote Client Services Representative

THREE is a growing insurance company that sells a unique and straightforward insurance policy to small businesses – from restaurants to electricians to consultants – covering them against property risks (e.g. fire, theft, flood), lawsuits, and more. At THREE, you’ll join a team of experienced insurance operators that chooses to run lean, promotes autonomy, and is charged with building a small commercial insurer that challenges the largest players in its space.

Job Responsibilities

As a Client Service Representative, you are the frontline ambassador for THREE, embodying our commitment to exemplary policyholder service that sets us apart in the industry. Your key duties include:

• Address policyholder service inquiries via phone and email, such as certification, billing, policy modifications, etc.
• Document all customer interactions clearly and accurately in our systems.
• Meet case volume targets as set by Service Leadership.
• Exhibit professionalism in all phone and email communications.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of THREE’s product, processes, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with teammates via phone, email, and Slack to fulfill service requests and exchange knowledge.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a call center or similarly fast-paced customer service environment
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
• Willingness to pursue P&C license
• Strong computer skills, preferably with experience using:
• Microsoft Outlook
• Videoconferencing tools (e.g. Zoom, Teams)
• CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce)
• Comfortable with new technology and willingness to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to take phone calls and answer emails for up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to receive and immediately apply coaching and feedback.
• Remote and hybrid hires must have wired high-speed internet and a private workspace to take calls without interruption.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith starting compensation is being provided. The starting compensation for this position is $19.65 per hour plus commission and/or incentive pay potential.
