Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor in Austin, TX is seeking a BEOL TQR Staff Engineer to support reliability engineering for advanced CMOS technology.

You will lead reliability evaluations, design experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive robust manufacturing processes with focus on statistical analysis and failure mechanisms.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Material, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skill with solid knowledge of reliability failure mechanisms and underlying physics and statistical analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of wafer-fabrication process.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for reliability improvement activities, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Identify, plan, and execute reliability evaluations for new technology qualification, process changes and abnormal events.

Position Summary

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $212,650. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
