Job summary

YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO is seeking a Bennett Preschool Assistant Teacher to plan, supervise, and deliver indoor and outdoor activities for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. You will help identify safety concerns and support a curriculum while upholding YMCA values.

• Must attend required trainings and meetings.
• Assist in opening or closing the preschool as assigned.
• Participate in daily cleaning of program buildings as assigned.
• Work in other departments or program areas as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Bennett Preschool Assistant Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising youth in a variety of outdoor and indoor programming, under all weather conditions. The Bennett Preschool Assistant Teacher is responsible for the care of children 6 weeks-5 years, with the ability to identify and respond to safety problems.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be fluent in speaking English
• Must enjoy working with kids.
• Must possess current First Aid and CPR certification
