Job summary

LTC is seeking Bengali-English interpreters in Indianapolis for contracted, on-site interpretation. Ideal candidates have 3 years of interpreting experience and familiarity with medical, social work, education, and workplace settings.

As an independent contractor (1099), you will provide interpretation services, maintain accurate records, and comply with HIPAA and other privacy laws. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Indianapolis.

Certifications in interpreting are preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Are you fluent in both English and Bengali? Do you have experience working as an interpreter? LTC is an interpreting agency looking for contracted Bengali language interpreters in Indianapolis. You will accept appointments on an as needed basis. The ideal interpreter has 3 years of experience interpreting and has experience in a variety of medical settings, social work, education and workplace settings, among others.

As an Independent Contractor Interpreter, you will not be employee of LTC. Rather you will function as a vendor, providing language interpretation services on an IRS Form 1099 basis.
