Job summary

Language Services Associates in Ambler, PA is seeking Bengali-English interpreters to support LEP communities across a variety of settings. As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for clients and individuals in real-time.

The role emphasizes superior customer service, confidentiality, and adherence to professional protocols. Candidates should be fluent in English and Bengali, with 1+ year of interpreting experience

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Bengali.
• The ability to provide a high level of client service.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
• Adhere to clearance requirements as requested by clients
• Report on site to any accepted assignments in a timely manner
• Access to personal or public transport
