Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in health and welfare benefits administration and 401(k) administration for large workforce
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• SPHR/CPP/CEBS designation preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of benefit laws and regulations and policy interpretation
• Proficiency with HRIS/benefit enrollment portals
• Ability to lead staff to high performance
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Responsibilities

• Assist in strategic planning, design, and implementation of all employee benefit programs
• Manage administration of health and welfare benefits, wellness, and leave programs
• Oversee annual open enrollment and communication delivery
• Evaluate coverage and negotiate with brokers and vendors; conduct benchmarking and cost analysis
• Prepare materials and plan communications for plan changes
• Conduct enrollment meetings and coordinate with employees
• Enhance benefit communications to improve understanding and value
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a compliance schedule
• Oversee carrier bill reconciliation
• Perform other duties as assigned
