Base pay range

$55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Soni is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our client with a growing HR/Benefits team during a pivotal time of transformation. This is a remote position but the person must live a commutable distance to King of Prussia OR Center City, Philadelphia, PA. This newly added position will be instrumental in consolidating seven benefit plans into a single platform and serve as the liaison between multiple brands, business units, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of benefits administration, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proven ability to work across multiple states and remote teams.

Key Responsibilities of a Benefits Specialist:

  • Lead and manage the consolidation of multiple benefit plans into one centralized platform.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal business units and external brokers/vendors.
  • Troubleshoot enrollment issues and manage resolution between third-party administrators and internal stakeholders.
  • Support API setup and coordination between systems and vendors to ensure seamless integration.
  • Provide ongoing support for benefits administration, including open enrollment, eligibility, and compliance.
  • Assist employees and HR partners with benefits-related questions and concerns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Help streamline and improve internal benefits processes and documentation.

Requirements of a Benefits Specialist:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Benefits Administration, preferably with multi-state exposure.
  • Experience managing benefits in a remote work environment.
  • Solid understanding of core health, welfare, and retirement benefit plans.
  • Experience working with or at major benefit consulting firms such as CBIZ, Winston, or Marsh is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and building partnerships with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 per year

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
