Job summary

Champlain Valley Educational Services (CEWW BOCES) seeks a Benefits Specialist for its Benefits Consortium Office in Plattsburgh. The 12-month position is 35 hours per week and includes eligibility for the Confidential Employees Salary and Benefit Package.

Starting salary minimum is $43,500 with a comprehensive benefit program, including health insurance premium sharing, vacation and leave days, and retirement participation under NYS plans.

Minimum Starting Salary: $43,500

Location: Benefits Consortium Office, CVES Learning Hub Campus, Plattsburgh

Anticipated Start Date: Immediate Opening

Position Information: 12-month position, 240 work-days, 35 hours per week. This position will serve in the Benefits Consortium Office and is part of the Confidential Employees Salary and Benefit Package

Paid Time off: 20 paid holidays, snow days off, 15 vacation days, 18 sick days, 5 personal leave days, 3family illness days and 3 bereavement days per occurrence

Retirement System: New York State and Local Retirement System (NYSLRS)

Health Insurance: 14% of premiums paid by employee. BOCES pays 86% of premium.

• CEWW health insurance consortium is the same as 15 local school districts.
