A Day in the Life of the Benefits Platform Specialist

In this role, you’ll serve as the go-to expert for building and managing client benefits portals, ensuring each open enrollment runs smoothly from start to finish. You’ll play a key role in configuring plans in Employee Navigator, supporting client communication, creating benefits booklets, and resolving discrepancies to ensure a seamless experience for clients and their employees.

Responsibilities include:

• Build and manage client portals within Employee Navigator
• Set up benefit plans for open enrollment periods
• Guide clients through the portal and its features
• Create tailored benefits booklets for each client group
• Communicate with clients during open enrollment and address plan-related questions
• Audit reports and invoices to ensure accuracy
• Resolve any discrepancies related to carrier connections in the platform
• Monday through Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM (1-hour lunch) schedule

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 2+ years as a Benefits Platform Specialist or similar experience with building benefits portals
• Experience using Employee Navigator
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism
• Customer service-focused mindset
