Job summary

AS Talent Advisors seeks a Benefits & Payroll Manager to partner with employees, vendors and leadership. The role focuses on payroll administration using Paylocity, benefits administration for self-funded plans, and managing 401(k) conversions, with a strong emphasis on compliance and data integrity.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates professionally, and enhances processes to improve accuracy and the employee experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• Strong Paylocity experience.
• Experience administering self-funded health plans.
• Experience leading a 401(k) conversion or migration.
• Working knowledge of payroll, benefits, retirement plans, and compliance.
• Analytical, organized, and highly detail-oriented.
• Professional communication and confidentiality.

What You’ll Do

• Lead payroll administration and oversight within Paylocity

• Maintain benefit enrollments, eligibility, deductions, audits, and reconciliations
• Partner with benefit carriers, recordkeepers, brokers, and vendors
• Ensure compliance, data integrity, and strong internal controls
• Identify process improvements that enhance accuracy and employee experience

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business, or related field)
• Strong Paylocity experience required
• Experience administering self-funded insurance plans
• Experience supporting or leading a 401(k) conversion or migration
• Working knowledge of payroll, benefits, retirement plans, and compliance
• Analytical, organized, and highly detail-oriented
• Professional communication skills and a strong sense of confidentiality
