Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated experience managing U.S. employee benefits programs (Florida and California).
• Strong experience with Self-Funded and Fully Insured health plans.
• Experience collaborating with external benefits brokers or consulting firms.
• Experience rolling out a 401(k) plan.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on HRIS experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Spanish language skills preferred.

Our client, a well-established company with a multi-decade track record, is seeking a Manager, Benefits – U.S. to oversee the administration and long-term strategy of its national employee benefits programs. This isn't just an administrative role—it’s a chance to partner with key stakeholders, manage major vendor relationships, and ensure competitive, cost-effective offerings

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Funding: Evaluate and recommend funding strategies across Fully Insured, Level-Funded, and Self-Funded plans


• Compliance & Audits: Manage regulatory compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA), execute federal filings (Form 5500), and mitigate risk


• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with benefit vendors, brokers, and consultants

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience managing U.S. employee benefits programs (versed in healthcare benefits in Florida as well as California)


• Funding Expertise: Must have strong experience with Self-Funded and Fully Insured health plans


• Experience working with external benefits brokers or consulting firms


• Experience rolling out a 401 K Plans


• Technical & Analytical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands‑on HRIS platform experience


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field


• Language: Spanish preferred
