Hunger Mountain Co-op in Montpelier, VT is seeking a Dish & Kitchen Assistant for a full-time, 32-hour schedule. You will perform dishwashing, food prep support, and maintain kitchen cleanliness in a fast-paced cooperative setting.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work independently with a focus on safety and sanitation. Reports to the Prepared Foods Manager with benefits eligibility.

Competenze

• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Willingness to maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• On-site presence at Hunger Mountain Co-op required.

Mansioni

• Wash all dishes, pots, and utensils and maintain hygiene per health rules.
• Return materials to proper locations at shift end.
• Clean sinks and dishwashing area to conformity with sanitation rules.
• Maintain bussing and refuse station in the cafe.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines for dish handling.
• Assist in kitchen prep and inventory maintenance as needed.
• Attend departmental meetings and uphold workplace safety.
• Adhere to all department policies and procedures.
