Alera Group is seeking a Benefits Coordinator for Employee Benefits in a hybrid role based in Deerfield, IL. You will support coverage placement, renewals, and day-to-day service for clients, coordinating with carriers and internal partners to ensure accurate, timely service.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with coverage placement, renewals, claims coordination, policy analysis and day-to-day service needs
• Serve as a primary contact for routine client service inquiries and coordinate activities with carriers and internal partners
• Collaborate with carriers and internal teams to resolve enrollment, billing and claims issues
• Contribute to retention and growth initiatives by delivering consistent and responsive client service
• Maintain documentation in agency management systems and client records
• Assist with enrollment processing and benefits program administration
