What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies to address complex client issues
- Collaborate with account management and client service teams on pre-renewal strategy and post-renewal analysis
- Maintain accountability for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers to enhance service delivery
- Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations impacting employer-sponsored health and welfare plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of benefits consulting experience
- Valid life and health insurance license
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Up-to-date knowledge of Health Care Reform and health and ancillary insurance products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database applications
- Practical knowledge of the quoting process and tools
