Benefits Consultant - Remote (Colorado or Minnesota)

Join our team as a Benefits Consultant - Remote (Colorado or Minnesota) at OneDigital.

This role focuses on client retention, benefit strategy, financial analysis, plan renewals, benchmarking, and service delivery. The Benefits Consultant will communicate industry trends and our value proposition to clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop benefit design and renewal strategies for complex client issues.
  • Collaborate with account management on pre-renewal strategies, RFPs, open enrollment, and post-renewal analysis.
  • Define scope of services and communicate timelines effectively.
  • Manage revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee onboarding of new clients and ensure exceeding client expectations.
  • Grow the client book through cross-selling.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors.
  • Stay updated on insurance markets, legislation, and compliance issues.
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of benefits consulting experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and influencing skills.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with database applications.
  • Valid life and health insurance license.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, knowledge of healthcare reform, and experience with quoting tools.

Location preference: Colorado or Minnesota. The typical salary range is $85,000 to $90,000 annually, with potential bonuses and benefits.
