Now, we’re seeking a Benefits Administrator to work with our team and play a key role in supporting our growing network.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day administration of health, wellness, retirement, and other benefit programs.
- Lead and coordinate benefit integrations during acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, IRS, and other regulations.
- Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and consultants; negotiate contracts and oversee transitions.
- Communicate benefit changes clearly to employees through FAQs, presentations, and webinars.
- Review and improve processes for efficiency and accuracy, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Investigate and resolve complex benefits issues, supporting employees with professionalism and empathy.
- Train HR staff and managers on benefits policies and best practices.
- Collaborate on other HR or talent projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, including 2+ years managing benefits integration during M&A.
- Experience harmonizing 401(k) plans during acquisitions.
- Strong knowledge of federal/state benefits regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and benefits enrollment systems.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- High emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and professionalism in sensitive situations.
- Experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve while managing multiple points of contact across different partner owners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certifications (CEBS, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP).
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with M&A project management tools.
- Background in developing and delivering employee education programs.
