Job summary

Loenbro, a national contractor, is seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage day-to-day benefits programs and ensure accurate enrollment. You will work with Human Resources, payroll, and external vendors to deliver compliant, employee-friendly benefits.

The role requires handling medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans, along with open enrollment and regulatory compliance. Join a team focused on integrity and growth.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and document control discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be bilingual.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and wellness plans.
  • Process new hire enrollments, qualifying life event changes, and benefit terminations.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefits records within HRIS and benefits administration systems.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding eligibility, coverage, claims, and enrollment processes.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment activities, including employee communications and system updates.
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and coordinate with payroll for accurate deductions.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to resolve issues and maintain service levels.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits.
  • Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, FAMLI, ADA accommodations, and other leave programs as applicable.
  • Prepare reports, audits, and documentation related to benefits administration.
  • Support the development and communication of benefits policies, procedures, and educational materials.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.

Job Summary

The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, compliance with applicable regulations, and a positive employee experience. Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and document control discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must be Bilingual

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of HR administrative experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or project-based industries.
  • Working knowledge of labor compliance, payroll practices, and employment law.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Benfits platforms.
