Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) is seeking a Benefits Accounting Specialist to manage complex accounting, auditing, and reconciliation of premium accounts. The role requires reviewing transactions, posting payments, and advising on discrepancies while ensuring HIPAA and EGID confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and pension laws.
• Familiarity with COBRA guidelines and Internal Revenue Code provisions.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve account issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile premium accounts and payments.
• Review, analyze, record, and reconcile AR transactions.
• Respond to inquiries about policies and procedures.
• Advise insurance coordinators and others on discrepancies.
• Maintain HIPAA and EGID confidentiality.
• Process refunds, NSF returns, write-offs, and adjustments.
