Job summary

FrankCrum Insurance Agency (FCIA) seeks a Benefits Account Executive to influence everyday business by underwriting, quoting, and processing new and renewal group benefit plans. You will be the main contact for clients regarding group benefits, and will provide consultative analyses and rate comparisons to support brokers and sales staff.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of benefits experience and a Florida 2-15 license, with strong customer service, communication, and regulatory

Qualifications

• One year of benefits experience required.
• Knowledge of Federal and state laws regarding employee benefits and insurance sales (COBRA, PPACA, ERISA, etc.).
• Florida 2-15 license required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact to current and prospective clients regarding group benefit plans (health, dental, life, disability).
• Provide consultative reviews and analysis of client benefit plans.
• Underwrite, prepare comparisons, and present benefit plans to clients.
• Perform timely follow-up with clients and maintain data in Pipeline.
• Process renewals and provide alternatives as needed.
• Assist brokers and direct sales staff with rate and plan information and guidance.
• Provide BAS/BAS Addendum to Benefits Implementation Specialist.
• Coordinate hand-off to Benefits Specialist.

The Role You'll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce a full-timeBenefits Account Executiveposition filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by performing the underwriting, quoting, and processing of new and renewal group benefit plans.

1. Acts as the main point of contact to current and prospective clients regarding their offer of group benefit plans such as health, dental, life, disability, etc.
2. Provides a consultative review and analysis of a client'sexisting benefit plans.
3. Underwrites, identifies, prepares comparisons, and clearly presents benefit plans to clients.
4. Performs timely follow-up with clients and maintains data in Pipeline.
5. Processes renewals in a timely manner to the client and provides alternatives as necessary.
6. Assists brokers and direct sales staff to ensure clear presentations by providing rates and plan comparisons, product information, and guidance.
7. Provides the Benefits Administration Summary (BAS) or BAS Addendum, as needed, to the Benefits Implementation Specialist.
8. Coordinates hand-off of process to the designated Benefits Specialist.
9. Assists with annual open enrollment, roll out of new products, etc.

The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include but not limited too excellent customer service, comprehensive written and communication skills, knowledge of Federal and state laws regarding employee benefits and insurance sales, COBRA, PPACA, ERISA, Section 125, etc., one year of benefits experience and a Florida 2-15 license.Knowledge of business profitability and risk management.
