Caterpillar in Menominee, MI is seeking a Bending Setup/Operator for 3rd shift or weekend shift. Starting pay is $19.75/hour with a $1.00 shift premium. You will set up and operate bending machines to meet tolerances and finish requirements, following blueprints and safety standards.

You will train others, maintain production records, and continuously monitor quality while working in a team-focused environment. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to ISO quality systems.

Responsabilités

• Identify tooling and equipment necessary to perform assigned operation.
• Follow start up and shut down procedures on all equipment, monitor and adjust equipment as necessary and record same.
• Plan set-ups and operate bending equipment to efficiently produce finished product.
• Ensure that all quality standards are met by visually inspecting work and/or measuring.
• Maintain records relating to production, downtime, quality, maintenance, etc.
• Instruct and train assigned operators on work tasks, safety procedures, proper use of equipment and ISO standards.
• Meet or exceed production requirements and collaborate with team leads.
