Job summary

Oregon Health Authority is seeking a Manual Arts Instructor for the Benchwork program at the Oregon State Hospital in Salem. This full-time, onsite role supports patients in vocational services, teaching benchwork skills from kit assembly to packaging for automotive and retail use. Monday–Friday, day shift, SEIU represented.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in each of at least three of the following: applying theories and practices in landscaping; applying work adjustments to training techniques; applying instruction principles; using tools and equipment common to assembly and benchwork; directing individuals and groups; communicating with a diverse range of people.

Responsibilities

• Heat packaging.
