Job summary

CBM of America, LLC. is seeking a Bench Technician to support the manufacturing and operations teams in Florida. You will perform final assembly, inspection and testing, assist with repairs, and prepare subassemblies for distribution in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, soldering readiness, good documentation, and following detailed processes. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic tooling skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to work at a lab bench

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic tool using skills and the ability to refine those to excellence.
  • Ability to manipulate spreadsheets and documents.

Responsibilities

  • Final assembly, inspection, and testing of manufactured product before being moved to the retail side of the operation.
  • Repairs of manufactured goods as needed.
  • Kitting of subassemblies for distribution.
  • Diagnostic and repair services for RMA’d materials.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Summary:

Bench Technicians support the physical side of the operations department as well as the manufacturing division.

Responsibilities:
  • Final assembly, inspection, and testing of manufactured product before being moved to the retail side of the operation.
  • Repairs of manufactured goods as needed.
  • Kitting of subassemblies for distribution.
  • Diagnostic and repair services for RMA’d materials.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Must possess full knowledge of the manufactured product line.
  • Must possess a good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Must be capable of diagnosing and repairing product.
  • Must possess the ability to follow detailed processes.
Special Requirements:
  • Steady hand for soldering and product assembly.
  • Good vision for small circuit assembly.
  • The ability to effectively communicate on technical issues.
Physical Demands:

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Working at a lab bench for the majority of the workday.
  • Moving between the labs and the warehouse to gather products and supplies
  • The work environment is primarily Healthcare facilities which include hospitals, offices and clinics. Some areas require sterile clothes and masks.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
