Job summary

System One is seeking an experienced Bench Scientist in Massachusetts to generate stable CHO cell lines, build cell banks, and assess expression. The role includes lab logistics such as ordering supplies and managing instruments, with a requirement for a BS degree and 2–4 years of relevant experience.

The candidate will maintain cell cultures, plan transfections, manage plasmid libraries, and present data to project teams while collaborating with cross-functional groups in a dynamic pharma

Qualifications

• BS in Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• 2-4 years of experience in Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Mammalian cell culture.
• Flow cytometry.
• Data tracking and management skills.
• Knowledge of general lab protocols.
• Strong communication skills, written, oral, and organizational skills.
• Automation and Python coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, thaw, and prepare host cell line cultures for all group activities.
• Independently plan and execute stable cell line generation for plate-based and flask-based transfections.
• Receive, track, and disseminate DNA plasmid library servicing liaison roles between plasmid generation and cell line generation groups.
• Present formal data packages to portfolio project teams and collaboration teams.

Will provide logistical support to the lab such as ordering supplies, managing instruments, and other general lab bench activities. Must bring a BS Degree and 2-4 years of experience.
