Job summary

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join our Field Design & Service Center Teams. You’ll advance from apprentice to bench jeweler in a promote-from-within environment with ongoing training to grow your skills from basic to advanced jewelry design and repair.

Responsibilities include stone setting, prong work, fabrication, and custom design, with opportunities across a nationwide network of Design & Service Centers.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years Bench Jeweler (or relevant) experience in skilled trades working with fine metals.
• Passing a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills & detail orientation.
• Customer service minded individuals with a high standard for quality work.

Responsibilities

• Repair and restore jewelry to original condition including chain and clasp repairs, prong work and stone setting.
• Create stone mountings and custom jewelry pieces.
• Perform advanced fabrication tasks including waxing, casting, and channel/platinum rebuilds.
• Use CAD/CAM tools to design and produce custom jewelry pieces.
