Job summary

Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest specialty retailer of diamond jewelry, is seeking entry-level Jewelers and experienced Jewelers to join our Field Design & Service Center Teams. You can start as an Apprentice Jeweler and progress toward becoming a Bench Jeweler through our training programs and internal promotion.

Our Design & Service Center Team Members deliver a customer-first experience, performing repairs and custom jewelry work including stone setting, mounting creation, CAD/CAM design,

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 1-3 years Bench Jeweler (or relevant) experience in skilled trades working with fine metals.
• Passing a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills & detail orientation.
• Customer service minded individuals with a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair chains and clasps, re-tipping prongs, and setting stones.
• Create stone mountings and performing channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform minor ring repairs and other jewelry repairs.
• Wax carving, fabrication and casting; custom design and creation of pieces.
• CAD/CAM design work as part of the design and repair process.
