Diamonds Direct is seeking a skilled Bench Jeweler to join our team in Texas. The successful candidate will size rings, set stones, replace damaged stones, and craft custom pieces, delivering exceptional customer experiences.

We value meticulous craftsmanship, dependability, and a passion for jewelry. Prior bench experience and a formal education or certification in jewelry making are highly regarded, and a bench test will assess technical skill.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bench jeweler with a strong portfolio.
• Certification and/or formal education in jewelry making is a plus.
• Pass bench test to demonstrate technical skills and craftsmanship.
• Experience in sizing, setting, and repairing varied jewelry is required.

Responsibilities

• Stone Setting: Precisely set stones into various types of jewelry using techniques such as prong, bezel, and pave settings.
• Stone Replacement: Replace damaged or missing stones with accuracy, ensuring secure and visually appealing results.
• Sizing: Resize rings and other jewelry pieces to fit customer specifications while maintaining structural integrity.
• Cleaning and Polishing: Clean and polish jewelry to achieve a high-quality finish and restore the original shine.
• Custom Work: Design and create custom jewelry pieces based on client specifications, from concept through to final product.
