Job summary

Lonnie’s Custom Jewelers in Albuquerque, NM seeks a dedicated Bench Jeweler to join our on-site team. You will execute custom jewelry designs, perform stone setting, soldering, resizing, repairs and polishing to deliver high-quality pieces, while collaborating with our designer and sales staff to translate client concepts into finished works.

You will inspect finished jewelry, maintain tools and a tidy workspace, and provide input on design feasibility and materials during client consultations.

Qualifications

• Interpreting client concepts and creating or modifying custom designs.
• Customer service abilities with clear communication and client satisfaction.
• Polishing and finishing to high quality workmanship.
• Experience with fashion and fine jewelry including repairs and custom builds.
• Willingness to mentor teammates and share bench techniques.
• Proficiency in stone setting, soldering, resizing and general bench work.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for small components.
