Job summary

Asurion is seeking a skilled Bench Jeweler in Smyrna, TN to service and repair clients' jewelry with precision and speed. This on-site role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to posted processes to restore damaged pieces to standard quality.

The position offers a $2,400 sign-on bonus and requires at least two years of jewelry repair experience, laser welding, and microscope proficiency. Training and advancement opportunities are provided within a collaborative shop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in jewelry repairs.
• Proficient in sizing, chain repair, prong and stone setting repairs, stone tightening, shank work, all types of stone setting, and finishing.
• Must have laser welding experience.
• Must have experience using a microscope.
• Must be able to read and understand instructions to complete repairs.
• Must be willing to train and share knowledge and experience.
• Must be organized and able to communicate with others.
• Must pass a bench test.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of invisible set repairs, a plus.
• Production experience, a plus.
• Experience in laser engraving a plus.

Position: Bench Jeweler

Location: Smyrna, TN

Pay Range: $24.00 - $35.00 depending on experience

$2,400 sign on bonus for Bench Jewelers

The Jeweler will service and repair clients' jewelry repairs while providing excellent quality and turnaround time, following all posted processes to bring damaged jewelry up to the standards required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe accountability of various gemstones, diamonds, metal used in repairs and customers jewelry.
• Be able to perform 20 repairs per day to meet goals and objectives.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in jewelry repairs.
• Demonstrated proficiency and skill in the areas of sizing, chain repair, prong and stone setting repairs, stone tightening, shank work, all types of stone setting, and polishing or other finishing techniques.
• Must have laser welding experience.
• Must have experience using a microscope.
• Must be able to read and understand instructions to complete repairs.
• Must be willing to train and share knowledge and experience.
• Must be organized and able to communicate with others.
• Must pass a bench test.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of invisible set repairs, a plus.
