Job summary

Floco Foods in Augusta, GA, is seeking a friendly, energetic team member for the deli/bakery department. You will ensure polite service, manage product preparation, inventory, and help maintain department standards.

Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, maintaining schedules, and training staff. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, read directions, and work well with others. We offer weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department per merchandising and programs.
• Ensure product quality meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety across the department.
• Provide guidance, orientation and training to staff.
• Handle product preparation, receiving, ordering and stocking.
• Maintain labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs PA announcements.

• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli department employees achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
