Job summary

Demeter Custom Millwork seeks a skilled craftsperson with hands-on experience in architectural millwork or cabinetry. You will read shop drawings, select materials, and operate woodshop equipment to produce precise millwork components.

Ideal candidates have OSHA 10 certification, laminating or veneer experience, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and meeting deadlines in a manufacturing environment. Overtime or weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in architectural millwork or cabinetry.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and translate into finished work.
• Proficient with shop machinery, tools, and equipment; able to assist with shop maintenance.
• Experience laminating plastic laminate and wood veneers.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as project schedules require.
• Familiarity with safe material handling and storage techniques.
• OSHA 10-Certification (OSHA 10) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and translate detailed shop drawings into finished millwork pieces.
• Estimate time required for assembly and production from shop drawings.
• Operate and maintain shop machinery and hand tools; support shop organization and safety.
• Collaborate with team to meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Work overtime or weekends as project schedules require.
