Job description

Pay Range: $15.50 - $26.00

SUMMARY

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Assists in training, scheduling, and inventory control within food court operations to promote optimal sales opportunities. Oversees staff and ensures compliance with all corporate and state sanitation regulations. May assist with cooking large quantities of food supplied to finishing cooks throughout the food court area. Has formal knowledge of recipes and cooking styles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
  2. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards.
  3. Assist with overseeing day-to-day operations of the food court, including training, scheduling, and inventory control.
  4. Assist with preparing and cooking large quantities of food for finishing cooks, based on required food volumes.
  5. Have thorough knowledge of recipes and ingredient formulas used in the food court.
  6. Ensure all staff adhere to sanitation policies and procedures.
  7. Control shrink by following related policies and procedures.
  8. Maintain logs for Cold case, Hot food, and Cooling logs as per store policy.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by management, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve results.
  • Satisfactory performance reviews.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic literacy and computer skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • 6-12 months of related experience.
