Job summary

Purvis Industries is seeking a Belt Technician to install, repair, and replace conveyor belts across shop, field, and customer sites. You will learn a new trade and advance your career while supporting our industrial distribution team.

Reports to the Belt Technician lead; duties include shop work, fabricating belting, and ensuring safety policies. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50+ pounds are required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and replace conveyor belts in shop and field.
• Fabricate custom conveyor belting and cut plastic sheeting.
• Follow safety policies and complete paperwork as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.

Job Summary

As a Belt Technician with Snake River Supply, you will perform a variety of duties within the shop, in the field, and at customer locations centered around installing, repairing, and replacing conveyor belts. This role allows you to learn a new trade and start a new career where your professional advancement is in your hands. You will report to the lead Belt Technician perform the following duties listed below but not limited to:

• Execute duties related to a variety of shop work.
• Fabricating custom conveyor belting
• Cutting plastic sheeting.
• Commit to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports,
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Mechanical Aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50 plus pounds often.
• Ability to work in tight spaces or at heights for an extended period.
• Ability to work a variety of schedules: overtime, on-call and weekends if needed.
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to utilize a tape measure, hand/power tools and some machines.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• Detail oriented.
