Job summary

CBT Cincinnati is seeking a Belting Fabrication Technician to fabricate, modify, and repair conveyor belts in our belt shop and occasionally at customer sites in the tristate area. You will use measurement tools, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

The role emphasizes precision, teamwork, and customer interaction. Requirements include a high school diploma, basic math and measurement skills, forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Stable work history, with no more than two jobs in the past three years.
Prior belting fabrication or related mechanical experience is a plus.
Mechanical aptitude with basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and 75 pounds occasionally.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Dependable with overtime and weekend work, including on‑call.
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Fabricate, modify, and repair lightweight conveyor belts and components in shop.
Assist with installation of belts at customer sites when required.
Maintain inventory accuracy for belting materials and components.
Complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
Use measurement tools to fabricate and verify belt dimensions.
Follow CBT and customer safety protocols and procedures.
Keep work area organized, clean, and safe.
Interact professionally with customers when needed.
Represent CBT professionally at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
