Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI is seeking a part-time Restaurant Supervisor to lead hourly staff and ensure top-tier guest service in a fast-paced environment.

You will train bartenders and dining staff, manage daily operations, and work with managers to optimize staffing levels and service quality. Prior fine dining or bartending experience is preferred, with a focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One year related experience within fine dining or as a bartender.
• Superior organization and guest service abilities.
• Basic math skills and computer skills including word-processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail.
• Ability to deal with guest complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult situations.
• No college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team members, ensuring the Bar and Dining Room area is stocked and policies are followed.
• Assist managers in training and development of Bartenders and restaurant staff.
• Collaborate with manager regarding operational deficiencies and staffing in line with budget and business needs.
• Greet guests positively and professionally, and monitor guests’ needs within your area.

Pay

$20.00 – $25.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team members, ensuring the Bar and Dining Room area is adequately stocked with all products and supplies needed for service and all departmental and organizational policies and procedures are met
• Assist managers in training and development of Bartenders and restaurant staff
• Collaborate with manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention, as well as assisting in the management of staffing levels in accordance with budgetary goals and business volume
• Greet guests positively, professionally and as an individual, and monitor guests’ and team member need within your assigned area
